On August 1, 2012, ABF Freight System, Inc., the largest subsidiary of Arkansas Best Corporation (Nasdaq: ABFS), issued a press release announcing that it disagreed with, and was disappointed by, the District Court's ruling dismissing its lawsuit against the International Brotherhood of Teamsters and other parties for violations of the National Master Freight Agreement. A copy of the press release is furnished as an exhibit to this Report on Form 8-K.
