Apollo Group, Inc. subsidiary, University of Phoenix, has received an Expedited Final Program Review Determination Letter from the U.S. Department of Education in respect of the Department's July 2012 review of the University's financial aid programs subject to Title IV of the Higher Education Act for the 2010-2011 award year and 2011-2012 award year to date. There were no findings in the program review.

A copy of the Department's Expedited Final Program Review Determination Letter is furnished as Exhibit 99.1 to this Form 8-K.
