Item 8.01 Other Events.
On July 18, 2012, the Board of Directors (the "Board") of Epocrates, Inc. (the
"Company") approved resolutions to reschedule the Company's 2012 Annual Meeting
of Stockholders (the "Annual Meeting") from September 18, 2012 to October 2,
2012. The Annual Meeting will be held at the Company's principal executive
offices located at 1100 Park Place, Suite 300, San Mateo, California 94403 at
9:00 a.m., local time. The new record date for the Annual Meeting is August 21,
2012. Only stockholders of record at the close of business on that date may vote
at the meeting or any adjournment thereof.
