On July 18, 2012, pSivida Corp. ("pSivida") issued a press release announcing that its partner Alimera Sciences, Inc. ("Alimera") disclosed an agreement for a $40 million equity financing and identified the development and commercialization of ILUVIEN as an intended use of the net proceeds from the offering.
