On July 9, 2012, BioMimetic Therapeutics, Inc. issued a press release that announced that it has submitted to the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) an amendment to its Pre-Market Approval (PMA) application for Augment®Bone Graft for its use as an alternative to autograft in hindfoot and ankle fusion procedures. A copy of the press release is furnished as Exhibit 99.1 to this Current Report on Form 8-K.
