By letter dated June 13, 2012, Mr. J. Roderick Heller III, a member of the Board of Directors (the "Board") of Montpelier Re Holdings Ltd. (the "Company"), advised the Company of his decision to resign from the Board effective June 30, 2012. Mr. Heller has served on the Board since 2007 and also currently serves on the Board's Finance and Compensation and Nominating Committees.
