On May 18, 2012, Golden Minerals Company issued a press release reporting its resource estimate for its Velardeņa operations. A copy of the press release is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1 and is incorporated herein by reference. The attached press release has been corrected to reflect in the paragraph below the measured, indicated and inferred resource table on page 1 the correct cut off grade of a net smelter ratio of $120.00 per tonne, rather than $120.000 per troy ounce as stated in the press release when originally issued..
