On May 11, 2012, Atlantic Coast Financial Corporation (the "Company") held its Annual Meeting of Stockholders. At the Annual Meeting, stockholders considered the election of directors and the ratification of the independent registered public accounting firm. Messrs. Linfante, Choudhrie and Woods were elected for three-year terms and Mr. Carey for a two-year term. In addition, Mr. Linfante was elected as the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Company.
