Item 8.01. Other Events.

On May 7, 2012, H.B. Fuller Company (the "Company") announced that it had entered into an equity purchase agreement with Companía Global de Pinturas S.A. ("Pintuco"), a company of Inversiones Mundial S.A. ("Buyer") under which the Company expects to sell to the Buyer its Central America Paints business. A copy of the press release that discusses this matter is filed as Exhibit 99.1 to, and incorporated by reference in, this report.
