On May 3, 2012, AXIS Capital Holdings Limited, a Bermuda company (the "Company") announced a June 30, 2012 record date for the payment of a quarterly dividend on its common stock. The Company hereby clarifies that the effective record date is Friday, June 29, 2012. As previously announced, the quarterly dividend of $0.24 per share will be payable on July 16, 2012.
