As previously reported, Assured Guaranty Ltd. ("Assured Guaranty") has agreed to sell 23,924,000 common shares in a public offering. The underwriter of the offering is UBS Securities LLC. Assured Guaranty expects the issuance and delivery of the common shares to occur on December 4, 2009. Assured Guaranty also granted the underwriter a 30-day option to purchase up to an additional 3,588,600 common shares .
