Notice of Delisting or Failure to Satisfy a Continued Listing
On November 10, 2009, First National Bancshares, Inc. (the "Company"), holding company for First National Bank of the South, issued a press release announcing its intent to submit an application to transfer its listing to the NASDAQ Capital Market.
On November 4, 2009, the Company received a letter from The NASDAQ Stock Market stating that the Company has not maintained a minimum of $10,000,000 in stockholders' equity, as required for continued inclusion on the NASDAQ Global Market by NASDAQ Listing Rule 5450(b)(1)(A).
A copy of the press release announcing this matter is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1.
