NCI Building Systems, Inc. is filing herewith a press release issued on
November 9, 2009 as Exhibit 99.1, which is included herein. This press release
was issued to announce that NCI Building Systems, Inc. is notifying holders of
its 2.125% Convertible Senior Subordinated Notes due 2024 (the "Notes") that
they have an option, pursuant to the terms of the Notes, to require NCI Building
Systems, Inc. to purchase all or a portion of such holders' Notes.
