On November 5, 2009, Huntington Bancshares Incorporated issued a press release disclosing The Huntington National Bank ("Huntington") announced the results to date of its offer to purchase subordinated bank notes having an aggregate principal amount up to $400,000,000 (the "Tender Offer"). As of 5:00 p.m., New York City time, on November 4, 2009, Huntington had received tenders of subordinated bank notes having an aggregate principal amount of $369,828,000. A copy of the press release is attached as Exhibit 99.1 hereto.
