On November 5, 2009, Biolase Technology, Inc. (the "Company") issued a press release announcing its financial results for the third quarter ended September 30, 2009. A copy of the press release is furnished as Exhibit 99.1 to this Current Report on Form 8-K.
On October 27, 2009, the Company filed a Current Report on Form 8-K to disclose that the Company's Board of Directors (the "Board") elected Gregory D. Waller to the Board. The purpose of this Item 5.02 is to disclose that, effective November 4, 2009, the Board appointed Mr. Waller to the Audit and Nominating and Corporate Governance Committees of the Board.
