On November 2, 2009, Equifax Inc. issued a press release relating to the acquisition of Rapid Reporting Verification Company, a privately-held national provider of IRS tax transcript information and social security number authentication services based in Ft. Worth, Texas. The purchase price for the acquisition was $72.5 million. A copy of the text of the press release is attached as Exhibit 99.1 hereto.
