On October 29, 2009, Provident Financial Holdings, Inc. (the "Corporation") announced a quarterly cash dividend of $0.01 per share on the Corporation's outstanding shares of common stock. Shareholders of record at the close of business on November 20, 2009 will be entitled to receive the cash dividend. The cash dividend will be payable on December 16, 2009. The news release announcing the cash dividend is attached as Exhibit 99.1 and incorporated by reference herein.
