On October 20, 2009, SUPERVALU INC. (the "Corporation") issued a News Release announcing its financial results for the quarter ended September 12, 2009, and updating fiscal 2010 earnings per share guidance. On October 20, 2009, the Corporation also announced that it would be revising its dividend policy with the intent to reduce the Corporation's regular quarterly dividend to $0.0875 per share from $0.1750 per share, effective for the dividend payment to stockholders of record on March 1, 2010.
