Appointment of Certain Officers; Compensatory Arrangements of Certain Officers On October 13, 2009, the Compensation Committee of the Board of Directors of Nuance Communications, Inc. (the "Company") approved several management changes including (i) a change in Donald Hunt's position with the Company from President, Worldwide Sales to Executive Vice President, Strategic Partnerships and (ii) a change in Steve Chambers' position with the Company from President, Mobile-Enterprise Division to Executive Vice President, Worldwide Sale and Chief Marketing Officer. Mr. Chambers will remain an executive officer of the Company.
