On October 16, 2009, Fidelity Southern Corporation ("Fidelity") issued a press release announcing its board of directors on October 15, 2009 approved the distribution of a stock dividend on November 12, 2009 of one new share of every 200 shares held on the record date of November 2, 2009. A copy of this press release is furnished as Exhibit 99.1 hereto and incorporated by reference herein.
