Item 8.01 Other Events.

On October 16, 2009, InterDigital, Inc. issued a press release announcing that the United States International Trade Commission reviewed in part the initial determination by the Chief Administrative Law Judge overseeing the investigation brought by InterDigital Communications, LLC and InterDigital Technology Corporation against Nokia Corporation and Nokia, Inc. but found no violation of
Section 337 of the Tariff Act of 1930 and has terminated the investigation. A copy of the press release is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1.
