Regulation FD Disclosure, Financial Statements and Exhibits
On October 19, 2009, NIC Inc. (the "Company") issued a press release announcing that the U.S. Department of Transportation, Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration ("FMCSA"), has awarded NIC Technologies, LLC, the contract for a National Motor Carrier Pre-Employment Screening System. NIC Technologies is an indirect wholly-owned subsidiary of the Company. The contract has an initial one-year term, with four, single-year renewals at the option of the FMCSA. The press release is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1 and incorporated herein by reference.
