Appointment of Certain Officers; Compensatory Arrangements of Certain Officers.
Space Systems/Loral, Inc. ("SS/L"), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Loral Space &
Communications Inc., announced on October 15, 2009, that, effective as of the
end of 2009, C. Patrick DeWitt will be appointed to the SS/L Board of Directors
as its Chairman and will relinquish his duties as Chief Executive Officer. John
Celli, SS/L's current President and Chief Operating Officer, will lead the
company's day-to-day operations beginning in 2010.
