Officers.
On October 2, 2009, George J. Riedl, senior vice president of pharmacy
innovation and purchasing of Walgreen Co. (the "Company"), informed the Company
that he planned to leave at the end of 2009. The material terms and conditions
of any agreement between the Company and Mr. Riedl will be finalized prior to
his departure and described in an amendment to this current report.
