Item 8.01 Other Events.

On October 7, 2009, Universal Technical Institute, Inc. (the "Company") issued a press release announcing the acquisition of the building for the new Dallas/Fort Worth campus site. The purchase price of the building was $9.1 million and will be approximately 95,000 square feet upon completion of the renovations of the facility. A copy of the press release is furnished as Exhibit 99.1 to this Current Report on Form 8-K and is incorporated into this Item 8.01 by reference.
