Item 2.02. Results of Operations and Financial Condition.

On October 6, 2009 Plug Power Inc. (the "Company") issued a press release announcing that it had received 380 GenDrive systems, with pending orders of 92 units received to date in 2009. The release also announced an analyst/investor day. The full text of the press release is furnished as Exhibit 99.1 hereto and incorporated by reference herein.
