On October 6, 2009, BioDelivery Sciences International, Inc. (the "Company") issued a press release to announce that the Company received a $1.3 million grant from the Walter Reed Army Institute of Research for investigation of the Company's Bioral® Amphotericin B product candidate as a potential treatment for certain fungal infections.
