On October 1, 2009, the Sovran Self Storage, Inc. (the "Company") issued a press release announcing the declaration of the Company's quarterly dividend of $.45 per share of common stock. The dividend will be paid on October 26, 2009 to shareholders of record on October 12, 2009.
