On October 1, 2009, Del Monte Foods Company announced via press release that its wholly owned subsidiary Del Monte Corporation has consummated the early settlement of its previously announced cash tender offer and consent solicitation with respect to its outstanding 8 5/8% senior subordinated notes due 2012, and has completed its private placement offering of $450 million aggregate principal amount of its 7 1/ 2% senior subordinated notes due 2019. A copy of the press release is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1 and is incorporated herein by reference.
