On September 30, 2009, BankAtlantic Bancorp, Inc. (the "Company") issued a press release in which it announced that it had completed its previously announced rights offering at 5:00 p.m. on September 29, 2009. The Company and BankAtlantic also announced that they are withdrawing their application to participate in the U.S. Treasury's Capital Purchase Program.
