Ferrellgas Partners, L.P. today announced that its Board of Directors had
elected President and Chief Operating Officer Steve Wambold Chief Executive
Officer, succeeding James Ferrell, who remains Chairman of the Board. Wambold
was also elected to the board of directors, increasing its number to seven.
Mr. Wambold joined Ferrellgas, Inc. as a General Manager in 1997, became Region
Vice President in 2003, became Senior Vice President of Operations in 2005, and
became President and Chief Operating Officer in 2006. Mr. Wambold obtained his
Bachelors degree from Purdue University.
