Entry into a Material Definitive Agreement, Financial Statements and Exhibits
On September 11, 2009, the U.S. Air Force Research Laboratory awarded a fifteen-month, $1.5 million contract to CombiMatrix Corporation for the development of automated instrumentation that uses CombiMatrix's semiconductor microarray technologies for detecting chemical, biological and environmental hazards that can impact the health of deployed military personnel. Under the terms of this contract, CombiMatrix will perform research and development activities, as described under the contract, and will be reimbursed on a periodic basis for actual costs incurred to perform these obligations, plus a fixed fee, of up to $1.5 million.
