Mr. John A. Morecraft, a member of the Board of Directors of Pamrapo Bancorp, Inc. (the "Company") and Pamrapo Savings Bank, S.L.A. (the "Bank"), the Company's wholly-owned subsidiary, has died suddenly in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida on Saturday, August 29, 2009, at the age of 87. Mr. Morecraft had served as a Director of the Company since 1989 and as Vice Chairman of the Board of the Bank since 1987.
