On September 3, 2009, Center Bancorp, Inc. ("Center Bancorp") issued a press release announcing that it has set a subscription price of $7.00 per share for its previously announced rights offering of up to approximately $11.0 million of its Common Stock to its shareholders of record as of September 1, 2009.
