On August 25, 2009, Copano Energy, L.L.C. issued a press release announcing that it has updated its commodity risk management portfolio for 2011 and 2012 with acquisitions of put options on West Texas Intermediate crude oil at strike prices reflecting current market conditions.

The press release is included as Exhibit 99.1 to this report.
