Item 8.01. Other Events.

On August 27, 2009, The Boeing Company (the "Company") issued a press release in which it announced a revised schedule for the 787 Dreamliner. The Company also announced a charge to third quarter earnings related to flight test aircraft. A copy of the press release is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1 and is incorporated herein by reference.
