Appointment of Certain Officers; Compensatory Arrangements of Certain Officers.
Midwest Banc Holdings, Inc. (the "Company") has announced that on August 10, 2009, Brogan Ptacin, Executive Vice President, Midwest Bank and Trust Company, and Kelly J. O'Keeffe, Executive Vice President, Midwest Bank and Trust Company, informed the Company of their resignation from Midwest Bank. Both were designated as named executive officers in the Company's 2009 annual meeting proxy statement. Their last day of employment with Midwest Bank will be August 14, 2009. Messrs. Ptacin and O'Keeffe's responsibilities have been assigned to other members of management.
