Item 8.01Other Events

On August 10, 2009, RINO International Corporation, a Nevada corporation (the "Company"), issued a press release announcing its quarterly financial results for the quarter ended June 30, 2009.

On the same day, the Company also issued another press release on a recent policy guideline by China's Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT), discussing the implications to the Company as a result of such new guideline.

Attached as exhibits to this report are the press releases that the Company issued as referenced above.
