On July 29, 2009, Asta Funding, Inc. (the "Company") issued a press release announcing results for the three and nine months ended June 30, 2009 will be issued on Tuesday, August 4, 2009 . A copy of this press release is being furnished as Exhibit 99.1 to this Current Report on Form 8-K.
