On July 30, 2009, AmerisourceBergen Corporation (the "Registrant") issued a news release announcing its earnings for the fiscal quarter ended June 30, 2009 and announcing its corresponding earnings conference call. Item 8.01. Other Events.
In the news release, issued on July 30, 2009, the Registrant also announced that it expects diluted earnings per share from continuing operations for fiscal year 2009 to be at the higher end of the Registrant's previously stated range of $1.59 to $1.65. The Registrant announced that the fiscal year 2009 range implies a fourth quarter fiscal 2009 range of $0.34 to $0.40 and the Registrant also expects to be at the higher end of the fourth quarter fiscal 2009 range.
