On July 29, 2009, StellarOne Corporation issued a press release announcing that its Board of Directors approved a quarterly cash dividend in the amount of $0.04 per share payable on August 28, 2009 to shareholders of record on August 10, 2009. The payment represents an annual yield to shareholders of approximately 1.1% based on the closing price of StellarOne stock on July 28, 2009. The text of the press release is included as Exhibit 99.1 to this report.
