(b) On July 27, 2009, Watson Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (the "Company") announced that Mark W. Durand, Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of the Company, has taken a leave of absence from the Company, effective immediately.
(c) On July 27, 2009, R. Todd Joyce was appointed to serve as the acting Principal Financial Officer of the Company, effective immediately. Mr. Joyce, age 51, has served as the Company's Vice President, Corporate Controller Treasurer since 2001 and served as the Company's interim Principal Financial Officer from October 2006 until November 2007.
