Freeport-McMoRan Copper & Gold Inc. (FCX) issued a press release dated July 21, 2009, announcing its second-quarter and six-month 2009 results and supplementary schedules (see exhibit 99.1) and presented slides on its web site that accompanied its July 21, 2009, earnings conference call (see exhibit 99.2).

FCX also issued a press release dated July 21, 2009, announcing that it has issued a notice to redeem all of its outstanding 6?% Senior Notes due 2014 on August 20, 2009, for $352 million (see exhibit 99.3).
