On July 6, 2009, the United States District Court for the Central District of California preliminarily approved a settlement of Corinthian Colleges, Inc.'s (the "Company's") previously-disclosed shareholder derivative litigation captioned Adolf, Derivatively on behalf of nominal defendant Corinthian Colleges, Inc., v. David Moore, et al.; Gunkel, Derivatively on behalf of nominal defendant Corinthian Colleges, Inc., v. David Moore, et al.; Pfeiffer, derivatively on behalf of Corinthian Colleges, Inc., v. David Moore, et al.; and M. Alvin Edwards, III, derivatively on behalf of Corinthian Colleges, Inc., v. David Moore, et al.
