On July 14, 2009, Pioneer Drilling Company issued a press release announcing that it reached a settlement in a wrongful death lawsuit filed against our Drilling Services Division in 2008. Pioneer Drilling Company has agreed to pay the family of the deceased $16 million, all but $1 million of which will be covered by insurance. A copy of that press release is furnished as Exhibit 99.1 to this report and is incorporated by reference herein.
