Item 7.01 Regulation FD Disclosure.

Humana Inc. issued a press release on July 13, 2009, announcing that Humana Military Healthcare Services, Inc., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Humana Inc., has not been awarded the United States Department of Defense TRICARE Management Activity ("TMA") contract for administration of the TRICARE program in TMA's South Region. A copy of the press release is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1 and is incorporated herein by reference.
