Terex Corporation (the "Company") issued a press release on July 13, 2009, announcing that it will be releasing its second quarter 2009 financial results on Wednesday, July 22, 2009, after the close of the market. The Company also announced that it will host a conference call on Thursday, July 23, 2009 at 8:30
a.m., Eastern Time, to review the Company's second quarter 2009 financial results. A simultaneous webcast of the teleconference and a replay of the teleconference will be accessible to the public at www.terex.com.

A copy of this press release is included as Exhibit 99.1 to this Form 8-K.
