Effective July 13, 2009, Vojo Vukovic, M.D., Ph.D. assumed the position of Senior Vice President and Chief Medical Officer of Synta Pharmaceuticals Corp. ("Synta"). On July 1, 2009, Dr. Vukovic purchased 2,600 shares of Synta's Common Stock on the open market.
