On July 8, 2009, Alternative Asset Management Acquisition Corp. ("AAMAC") issued a press release announcing certain changes to its proposed acquisition Great American Group, LLC. Attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1 is a copy of such press release.

In addition, AAMAC is filing this third amendment to the May 14, 2009 Current Report on Form 8-K to include a revised Investor Presentation.
