Effective August 1, 2009, Olivier Bohuon, Senior Vice President, International
Pharmaceuticals, has been named Executive Vice President, Pharmaceutical
Products, succeeding James L. Tyree. Tyree will transition to a new role as
President, Abbott Biotech Ventures Inc., a subsidiary focused on investments in
early stage pharmaceuticals and biologics.
